The Criminal Analysis & Intelligence Unit utilizes various tools and sources to assist the department in targeting and solving current crime and identifying potential future crime trends and patterns The unit consists of one civilian analyst and two Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division . The counter terrorist officer also works with the unit.
