Child Identification Program
The Police Department has a Child Identification Program available to parents. The primary goal of the program is to help protect the children of the community by providing parents with the vital information they would need if their child was lost or abducted. Information in the kit includes the child’s personal information, recent photograph, medical information, an ink strip and fingerprint chart, an area for a DNA sample and an instruction guide for parents. The kits are completed by a police officer and kept by parents/caregivers. For more information contact Sergeant Jason Kim of the Youth Division at (203) 594-3523.
